Damn.
As I left my building today. I saw a suspicious box sitting on the door person's desk... looked very much like an ipod. (mine has shipped), since it isn't supposed to arrive till monday and hadn't gotten into the country until yesterday evening... I thought, "naw. better not get my hopes up." and i didn't check! look up on fedex when i get to work... sure enough delivered. I could be toying with it right now....
anyway i will put up pictures later. and let you all know if it is hp/apple and what is engraved on the back.

Congrats!
They aren't shipping HPs anymore, so it's definitely an Apple. To tell if it's engraved, track it via the FedEx website, and look at the REFERENCE NUMBER. If it is P9282LL/A, it's engraved. If it's M9282LL/A it isn't. Chances are it's not engraved, as Harry said the engraving was a one-time thing for a few orders.
