Account mixup

Alright, i was just wondering, a while back i had signed up under my friend and tried to do the ebay offer. After i did that i never received credit. Now that isn't what this post is about. After i had done that, i thought the site was crap and never came back. That was until one of my friends had received an pod through this. So i went back to hot mail to activate my account and never saw the email. So i created a new account, however, i just wanted to see if i can get my old account canceled, but i checked the FAQ and they said that accounts can't be canceled, can anyone help me with this?

uhhh i guess if you didn't receive credit it SHOULDN'T matter, i mean if you get on hold explain to gratis that hotmail never came thru with the verification email.... but yea i'm not sure because you can change your email address, which is what you should have done,
