I was wondering, people are saying that now Gratis is using Apple as their vendor... Well in that case shouldn't Ipods be shipped 1-3 days after the initial "Shipped to Vendor" deal. Because Apple advertises on their site that they ship out all orders within 1-3 days...this is somethin I just was wondering.....

not necessarily, because on apple's site, you're ordering as a customer, gratis is ordering as a vendor basically with their mass ordering.
plus STV doesn't always mean gratis placed the order RIGHT when you go to STV... usually they place the order 2-3 days later
