Personally I'd rather just have a gift card to go get the Xbox360... You should mention that option to your gratis peers Jake. It would solve all the preordering problems for most people.

Its not to early to have a plan. They should have something lined up like pre-ordering a bunch or something...

I am sure that my superiors have some sort of plan on how to deal with all of this but they haven't given me any word yet. Therefore, I really don't want to say anything because if things change then I look stupid.

I'll make sure to let everyone here know when I get official word on how we will be dealing with the X-Box 360s.

In other words they are going to be back ordered 4-8 weeks after they hit the market. This has happened with every hot item that has hit the market. From a new generation ipod to a macmini and psp. Gratis does not have the buying power of BestBuy, GameStop and other larger companies, so they take a backseat to them in the eye of the suppliers.

Wow, sounds pretty ungrateful for a company that gives you items for FREE

Precisely.

hehehhehe

I'm grateful for whatever I get for free, even if I wait a month or two... Some people act like they paid and ordered something, even when it is still technically, a 'gift,' no matter what you did to get it.

p.s. I'm not trying to kiss Gratis ass even if it seems that way.

Not being ungrateful at all, just stating a fact. What people understand, these "gifts" are given to use because we bring them business. They are not given to us for no reason, they are given to us because we generate an income for them and their workers. What people need to understand, that all these freebie companies depend on us to keep their doors open, not the other way around.

What person would sign up for these offers if the free gifts were not included? Not many. Even if you did, how man of your friends would do a offer if something was not in it for them. Let's say 10% would do an offer if no gift was attached....and then another 10%....so out of 1100 people, only 20 would do offers (if my math is right).

Remember, like any other business, we are the customer and need to be treated that way. All the freebie companies are starting to realize this, because gratis is not the only company in the field. There are many other sites that are competing for our business.

Whatever fee we pay for the offers is still far less than the gift item that we get for getting the referrals. And if I understand the business model Gratis is using correctly, [ue528e62f02]we[/ue528e62f02] are not the "customer". We are more like their marketing department.

You're still being ungrateful.

Not ungreatful in the least. Gratis, and they as a company know it, would not be a company if it was not for us, the end user or customer or whatever you want to call it. This is no knock to them, but it is the truth. Same holds true for all the freebie companies out there. Keep that in mind, Gratis would rather us do their site, then someone elses, and vice versa. How the system works is like this...you can only do an offer once, and they would rather them do the offer under their network, then someone elses so that they can make the money.
