Hi Guys

I am hoping you can do me a massive favour - Us Brits are not as lucky as you guys and this offer is not available over here . But I do have friend who lives in Boston who try and visit regularly so have signed up using her details and her friends.

But I need 3 more referrals and it is dificult to persuade her friends that this is genuine so would any of you guys be able to give me a referral or pass it on to your buddies ( think of it as keeping up international relations) hope someone can help - If there is anythin I can do in return please don't hesitate to ask !

Cheers

OK, I've been doing this crazy thing called the Internet for like 10 years now, but what the hell does pwned mean? I have never seen it until I started coming here.

Am I getting old or something??? )

The rules state you can't post referrals on here... always read the rules first...

PWNED started with on line games (Like counter-strike) in which, when someone kills another player, they may say 'You were OWNED'....and since they are trying to type extremely fast so they can get the message out and not get shot, they would frequently accidentally hit the P instead of the O. It happened so often that it stuck. So-and-so was PWNED!

OOOOOOoohhhhhh. Well thanks for the explanation. I never got into the whole online gaming thing --- I play Quake II every now and then but never encountered that. Thanks for the explanation!

You say you've been using the internet for ten years. Yet, you've never heard of 'pwned' OR urbandictionary?

You sir, should be shot!

Usually 'poned' in my experience. As in corn pone. With a D.

And the stupid forum word censor only changes text, not included links. I gotta figure out how to fix that. Oh well.

for the link replacer, however this code replaces <a> junk, not [a]... so you'll have to do a bit of editing, i would to this buuuuuut i cant understand javascript although i've read my javascript visual quickstart guide 3 times through, lol
