I was trying to sign a friend of mine up as a referral and she mentioned she'd read a piece somewhere or other where some people were complaining that wehre they had been expecting an iPod they ended up with another piece of merchandise.
I have yet to see such a thing myself but I'm wondering is it bullshit or has this happened?
Also wondering what the problem is..the other things Gratis is sending out cost MORE than an iPod, don't they?

Thanks for the explanations folks. I dislike Wired and don't read it, personally, so I wasn't sure what the story was with that.
ive never heard of wired, so i dont know the credibility (
