shipping out minis as well?

So about what Harry said, are they also shipping out all backordered minis, or just the regular ipods?

well if you read what he had said it seems to be ALL backorders, but nowing the minis are still in high demand its hard to tell.

all backorders, I'm not quite sure what does it mean, can someone explain it to me please?

why would people want minis?? the regular ipods have more retail value and hold more songs...

and if you are dying to have a colored ipod, just spray paint yours lol

I was going to get a mini. 4gb is MORE and I mean MORE than enough space for every song that I ever really listen too. but I like the white/chrome of the classic ipod AND there is a CF card attachment so I can download my digital camera and other goodies. also it should have a larger battery and screen ?? and I can use the extra space for "other" stuff. plus its worth more.

if not for those things I would have gotten a blue mini -)

But go regular iPod. Figure i can store all i want on it for fun. Although my current mp3 library doesnt exceed 2 gb.

You should order a regular 20 gig iPod, and exchange it for a Mini at an Apple Store. That way you don't have to wait months for the Mini to ship, and you will get $50 back.. D

So will the backordered minis also be going out in the next 1-2 weeks?

i just went and bought a mini a week ago and now im waiting for my 20 gig. get $50 back and you dont have to wait at all wink .

but i like the mini, its more than enough for me, i just want something to lift with and something small i can carry around, its smaller than the 20 gig and although its only a little bit smaller, that little bit makes the difference, it fits in my jean pockets just right and the 20 gig seems bulky in there

The mini iPods are backordered? Is that the deal? So they are going to take forever to ship? Are you saying it is a good idea to switch to the 20G iPod because it will ship faster? I am confused...

I really wanted the mini because the whole point of the iPod for me is that it is super small and convenient. But if it is gonna take 6 months to ship or something, I will gladly switch to the other one! Can someone please clarify this for me? Thanks!

if i were you , i would get the 20gb apple . it ships faster, once you get it exchange for a mini and buy a case or better headphones with the extra cash you get
