I had two people tell me it's a scam

Yes, They're pulling your leg. Use some common sense - If gratis did this, would they even be around for 2 weeks? No.

Gratis has NO WAY to charge you. You are never required to enter credit card information on their site. If you're worried about getting charged, stay away from the "membership" type clubs that don't tell you the monthly rate or whatever after the free trial. Also, read all the Terms and Conditions before you sign up with an offer.

Then don't do it if you're that worried. KSG is right - Gratis has no way to charge you. They don't take your credit card information.
Your friends are assholes and don't know what they are talking about. For all you know, they are talking about another site that is a scam site. But Gratis has proved they are real.
if they had you pay 300 what profit would they make?

word woulda spread all over the net by now if people were being charged. Id personally tell gratis to suck my @$$ if they ever sent me a bill for my FREE stuff

Hope you learned your lesson not to believe the ignorant people on here that try to stir up trouble by telling everyone it's a scam. I've got my ipod in hand and all of those people that told me it was a scam are jealous now. Hehe. P
