Finally... I was approved on April 20, and today May 16, I received it.
I looked up the serial @ apple.com and it says it was purchased on April 27th... I assumed it didn't have Tiger, but I look in the box, and there is OS X Tiger DVD ...
I am upgrading right now. It came with Panther installed, and I have to do the Tiger upgrade manually. It will only let me 'upgrade' I didn't see an option for a clean install.

I will say this, I have an iBook G4 933Mhz w/ 640MB Ram, and after I installed tiger on this thing, you really notice the slowdown. Anything more than 1 or 2 apps and it really pokes. I have to upgrade the ram immediately.
Transintl.com (where I buy all of my mac ram..only place I trust!) has a 1gig stick for $99.00

Mine also came with an iWork demo DVD. Did yours at least come with that?
I'm surprised it's not with it.. .mineurl==http://=http:///url was RIGHT on top of the mac.

When doing the installation - you can choose Options and from there you can do an Archive and Install or (as I'm doing right now) Erase and Install. So, I think the upgrade disks do allow you to perform a clean install - it just has to verify you have a previous installation of 10.3.

dang, i wanna do a mac mini site now! I'm getting my pc taken away cuz i play games on it too much lol but a mac mini would be sweet. If i have a router with PCs a mac mini will still work right becuase the router is sharing the connection?

Go for it Kaymin.. it's an awesome machine.. and even when you tell someone the dimensions of it.. when they see it they are like 'Wow' i didn't know it was THAT small.
Too bad Gratis couldnt give us a 'super' mini for 12 referrals or something.

I think i'm just gonna buy one twisted twisted but thats only if I can return my free ipod for whole value and find a way to get a student discount. It sucks i go to highschool but can't get a student discount! Students of k-12 dont get the discount, only employees do! I might be able to get some college guys to do it though!
