i just registered with freeflatscreens, and registered as a new user through the ebay offer, how exactly does the offer work, do i just have to place a bid, or do i have to bid and win the auction in order to get credit

You only have to make one bid. It doesn't have to be the high bid/winning bid, as stated in the popup window upon signup.
i did it on sunday, got credit monday
a friend of mine did it, and never did get credit...which made him think that this is all a massive scam. He signed up under somebody else's referral link - so I don't really care what he thinks. lol
