ok, I checked my tracking number for my freePSP and the estimated delivery date was 5/2/05, so I checked it today and it said Delivered. But I cehcked and im sure it wasnt delivered. Also, it says it requires signature, and no one was at my house to sign for it. Then I checked my tracking number and it said Signed for my "D Pole". I have no idea who the hell that is, but its not anyone related to me or anyone I know. Then I checked the location of the Delivered status thing and it says Orlando, FL, but I live in Kissimmee, FL. I checked the Destination address and it has the right address and everything, so how the hell was it delivered to a completely different city! What do I do now!? I want my PSP!!!! Some bastard got a free psp off of me! Tell me, why would you sign for a package for someone you don't know. What if it was a bomb or something...god damnit i hate stupid people x

Call DHL and ask them.

I did, but they said they would try to find an exact address of where it was delivered and call me back. What good is that gonna do? Are they gonna go and ask for it back or something? What if he already opened and used it and crap, I dont want no preused PSP, who knows what he/she did with it, if they still even have it.

The same happened to me last week. They delivered mine when no one was home to sign for it... so they stop by and get anyone who might be around to sign for it. In my case, it was a neighbor who was about 5 houses down --- that I had never met. I didn't recognize the name and I also paniced.
Called DHL and they told me the same --- they would call the driver and find out the exact delivery address. They called me back about an hour later and said that they were sending the driver back because the package was signed for by someone who claimed to know me. He would try to recover the package and record the exact address of delivery.
Turns out that the DHL guy had just left the package on my doorstep and got some random guy who was out by his car (many houses down) to sign for it.
Seems to me that this would be a severe liability issue for DHL, but they continue to operate at the complete opposite extreme from UPS/Fed Ex. They do everything possible to prevent a return trip to deliver a package.
My suggestion is to always leave a copy of your tracking information and a note where to leave the package if you're not going to be home --- because you can be sure that they are leaving it anyhow. Better that you pick the place rather than they.

Yeah but the thing is that could not be the case with me. The neighbor who signed for you was only 5 houses down or so. The person who signed for my package is in Orlando, a completely different city. I can understand if the delivery guy got someone close by to sign for it, but getting someone in a different city to sign for it? Seems a bit odd don't you think?

Don't sweat the location. Mine says that it was delivered to Smyrna and I live in Woodstock. Both are suburbs of Atlanta, but on opposite sides of the town. I think that may have something to do with the center is gets shipped out of last.
Have you had any of your neighbors check your doorstep yet?
Good luck!!! Hopefully it will be waiting for you when you get home.

Yeah I actually went up and down my whole street and asked all my neighbors and they said none of them got a package or signed for anything. And then DHL called me back and said they found the exact address in orlando so I know it wasnt any of my neighbors and they said the guy will go back to get it and deliver it to me. I am just worried the guy who signed for it might have done something with it, or at least stole my spider man 2 UMD ifi evne had it..i will be pissed if that happens lol

I had that happen at Christmas with what seemed like the last slim PS2 in America. I bought it for my brother and finding one in stock was a huge coup, only to have FedEx deliver it to the wrong house and have someone random sign for it. Luckily, the driver was able to recover the package and deliver it to my parents' house.
good luck.

Did you ask them wtf they got the actual delivery address? I would be livid if they did that to mine. I was pissed enough when they dropped it on my doorstep for anyone to take. Handing it off to some random a few towns over would be a WHOLE different story.
What if he signed some fake name? How do they prove he ever received it?
I can't believe DHL stays in business supporting a model like this. roll

Well, the DHL guy just dropped by and gave me my PSP. Luckily everythign was in tehre and seems to be in working order. Luckily I also got Spider man 2. I honestly don't know how DHL delivers a package to a completely different city, but I am just glad I got it back.
