I read the above thread, and some others, but still haven't found a concrete answer.

I got my ipod a couple of weeks ago, and it does not work with itunes on my roommate's G4. I've tried everything I can think of, but it doesn't work with the latest version of itunes.

How can I go about providing any kind of proof-of-purchase to use the warranty? I registered the product, but that doesn't work as a p-o-p.

Ideas?

Don't they come with a warranty card, or instructions for online registration? Wouldn't that be sufficient?

there is an online registration, but you need proof of purchase to use the warranty, I believe.
