i.e. you exchanged yr 20 gig freeipod for like for a 40 gig, or perhaps a mini for a real one
a. where did you do it (Best Buy, Compusa, etc)?
b. any problems since you didnt have the receipt?
Best buy told me on the phone that with no receipt I cant do it, but i have done exchanges with them before with no receipt, i didnt know if the policy had changed or maybe the ipods were a special case... as far as i know, theyre not even on the floor so its impossible for them to think i stole it from them somehow, but im still nervous going in and looking shady.

but if thats what you're going to do, be a man, walk in there and say "I have no recipt t was a gift." And if they tell you to blow it out your arse, then try somewhere else.
btw, i used to work at crapusa, and if someone 'called' about returning somthing with no recipt, we made sure if that person came in to check over their stuff. Dont call, just do it

what can they do? They can tell you to leave or that they wont exchange it.

When I came in to exchange mine, they took it from me, beat me with the box, and then threw me out the back door.
I tell you ... the corners of that iPod box don't [if2ab672d5d]look[/if2ab672d5d] all that sharp. But they feel sharp when they are sent into your head and back.
