I have a hard time trying to transfer my music to my ipod. I have windows ME. do i need to have windows XP? i tried different programs such as Anapod and mL but none of them work.

Something like my computer doesnt recognize the drive or something? I see a new drive install but when i click on it..it says it need to be formated. Do I need to format the drive or something?i need help..this taking me a long time. Grr.. thanks

To get ml_ipod to recognize my ipod, I had to go on my dad's laptop (Windows Xp) and format it with iTunes. If you have a friend with Xp you can probably do that.

Use iTunes. It's designed to work with the iPod.
