So, what to do while waiting for my iPod?
Organize almost 10 gigs of music.
My basic directory structure is in place, but my ID3 tags have never been edited. I found several pieces of software to help with this, but most seem too complicated, allowing me to edit one song at a time and the edit window has tons of info i won't care about. I only care about what get's displayed on the ipod + genre for playlists.
Any suggestions on overall file organization? ID3 editors?
Thanks!

I highly recommend THe Godfather for ID3 editing, it helps a lot. And about overall file organization - no idea, sorry. But The Godfather has everything that you need to have to edit your tags + more;)

MP3-Tag STudio has worked out amazingly well for me. It does all kinds of tag editing and file renaming and such.

To tell you the truth I used itunes. . .i was able to organize ~8 gb of music in a few hours. The plus about itunes is it will organize your folder structure for you if your ID3 tags are correctly edited.
