9/21 STV but not Shipped?

Sorry, I haven't seen too much discussion about this.

I was STV'd 9/21 but haven't shipped but yet some have received. Am I amongst the only? I doubt so, but to be sure I wanted to check.

everyone is 9/21 STV. They are going by what date you ordered, i'm sure.

I just emailed Gratis about us 9/21 STV folks. I was a little confused that we were in the same batch as other folks, but for some reason we didn't receive our orders. I assumed it wasn't a problem with Dell since they are usually exceedingly efficient at fulfilling orders - so if it actually was STV on 9/21 (meaning Gratis placed an actual order with Dell) then I would have thought we'd all receive our systems within a couple of days of each other. After seeing the nicely equipped 3000's that first batch received, I was certainly sad when mine didn't show up at my doorstep.

So, today I decided to contact Gratis and find out if we were going to get new STV dates or what. Whether the issue was as I suspected (Gratis ordered a bunch of them, but then cancelled those that were not before 9/8 and shouldn't receive the P4) or if indeed there was something wrong with Dell. Here was the response I got

"As a matter of fact the problem was actually on Dell's end. They did not process a number of orders due to a separate issue. This has been resolved with Dell and the orders will be fulfilled. You should be receiving the same model as the others, as it was ordered along with them originally."

So, looks like all of us 9/21 STV folks should receive Dimension 3000 units with P4's! Good news indeed. Not sure if this means everyone will receive Dimension 3000's or not, but still nice to hear something.

I should be receiving the 3000 since I was before 9/8 and if they send me a celeron, that is total bullshit.

I think you're probably pretty safe in assuming between the response they sent me and the fact you're before 9/8 that you will receive a P4.

yea bos said that his gratis contact said everyone before 9/8 should be getting a P4, so i should be safe.

Yup, along with the fact Gratis just told me that anyone in that 9/21 STV group (regardless of being before 9/8) are getting the P4. I wish I could find my order number... I guess we can continue to watch that customer number on Dell. However, it almost sounds (from the Gratis email I have) that they already re-placed those orders, but they don't appear in the Dell order list (even though there is an order for a 17" monitor on Oct. 5th).

What does STV stand for?
