Can u b denied b/c referals have the same IP Address

I read somewhere that if any of your referals sign up from the same IP address they will not count. Gratis considers this "cheating". Is this true?

To help answer the question (although its probably been discussed in greater detail) I don't think having the same IP's AUTOMATICALLY gets your account locked, its just a red flag. They can't simply lock people due to IPs since there are MANY situations where two people (who might not even know each other) could have the same IP address. Its just an indicator that your account will probably be scrutinized and they'll look at the addresses, passwords, etc to see if there are other similarities between the accounts. If there are, then you'll be locked.

I've had 2 people who are apparently roommates in college signup under me for numerous sites using the same computer. All of their signups have been approved EXCEPT for freeipodshuffle where one of them accidentally used the Google autofill for the address and so both accounts had the same address. Those 2 referrals were denied, but other sites they signed up on after that went through without a problem.

yeah they wont freeze you but it will look suspicious - lol someone on the forum had the same ip as me i was freaked out when i found out i almost got bant(the guy was a scammer) but yeah dont worry about same ips
