[quotebac00912ce]By referring more than five friends, you will expedite the receipt of your free iPod,
as you need at least five referrals to also complete an offer in order to get your free iPod.[/quotebac00912ce]

I was browsing the www.freeipods.com site, and i found this on there(the refer more friends page)... is it true??

Interesting, I had 12 greens when I finished, so hopefully I get mine a little faster than normal...

it prolly just means that by having more than 5 refs complete an offer you have a better that if one of u referrals are denied, you will have another green to replace it.

He's flat out lying, if you view the source on the refer more friends page, the world expedite nor receipt is anywhere within the page.

You're right Adam, I decided to check it out myself as well.

Though that would have answered why some people got theirs so fast and why some 8/x orders are still waiting.

I think you're both right. I signed in on my account that I got my ipod through, and its not there. But then I signed in through my friend's old account that he gave up on and I can see it. Maybe if you dont have your 5 referrals yet it shows up or something.....

I think it's just saying that the more people you refer, the better chance you have of 5 of those people actually completing an offer.

For example, in another thread some guy posted his link in some random forum, and had 180 people sign up under him in 2 days. By the 4th day, he had 9 completed offers under him. Whereas, I only got 8 people to sign up under me, and then I waited to weeks for 5 of them to turn green. As a result, it added 2 extra weeks to my wait for my iPod.

I don't think it means it will speed up the process once you've been approved and placed your order.

Haha, I think you're misreading that. I had 13 greens and over 90 yellows and I had to wait over 2 months before I got my ipod. I agree with mortoca...the more you refer the better your chances are of getting greens.
