What kind of experiences has everyone had with donations on this site. Specifically, how many referrals did you get as a result of a donation to this site?

3 yellows, none went to green. This was about a month ago or so, IIRC. Your mileage may vary, as the site claims some have had up to 60 or so refs in a day.
