How to get referrals

Hey guys, I had 5 referrals but two were unfairly deemed non-unique. So now I've gotta find another two and I can't find anyone. Anyone got any goods ways to get just two more referrals?

i printed out fliers and posted them at my school and in my neighborhood. i figure everyone online already knows about it so inform the masses who are offline

i dont get how the flier thing works? people wont type in your whole referal line. so how did you get credit for those people?
