8/6ers still waiting

I know gratis lurks in here. Can we please get an answer as to why people post 8/10 are receiving apple ipods and we are all still waiting? I have been very patient for the last two months, but I'm slowly starting to lose it as I read the forum and see people who ordered in September receiving their ipods.

I don't care if it will take a few more days or weeks, just please tell give us an answer so we don't have to refresh freeipods.com every couple hours.

Please don't take this as bitching. Thank you for hope of a free ipod. I have faith that I will receive my ipod eventually, but I think it's just gotten to the point where a lot of us deserve an answer or an explanation.

I played by your rules and fulfilled the requirements for a free ipod. Please play by your rules and get me an ipod on a first come, first serve basis as you stated you would.

Well, I'm with you. Those who ordered in September switched over to HPs, and got those on first-come first-serve, though. What starts to worry me is 8/12 and 8/13s who are getting their apples.

I'm also an 8/6 who is STILL waiting...

My iPod finally shipped !!! I ordered 8/6, IP3 8/10 and switched 9/21. My status is still Sent to Vendor. I'm getting the engraved Apple iPod directly from Apple !!! lol

Sebring, you bring us all hope. I'm also 8/6. How do you know yours shipped when it still says STV?

Well, I called Fedex international. I gave them my address and they told me my ipod is in a shipment of 40 others and it's being cleared by customs in Indianapolis (instead of Anchorage).

About time!

Even though it says STV on my account, I just got the FedEx doortag on my door today. I called and they confirmed that it was for my name that I signed up for FIP under, so YAY I HAVE MY IPOD! I used the FedEx tracking thing up there a few days ago with no results, AND I called FedEx yesterday to see if any packages were coming to me, and they said NO! But they were so very wrong )

Considering driving to the FedEx center and get horribly lost, or wait for it to come tomorrow. Hmmmm.

Hm... this means they are way behind on Apple iPod shipments if they are still making up for early august. Us mid/late Sept people are going to be lucky to see a package by Christmas at this rate. Especially considering the rate of growth seems to be exponential.

Look at the order numbers early on... they don't increase very rapidly. Fast forward to 8/30-9/15... they grow much more rapidly.

So at this rate... were looking early next year. ? Hopefully things will speed up.

I'm 8/6 too, and No IPOD yet. my friend who was my referral and didnt get STV till 8/16 got hers already (she chose the same ipod (apple) as I did).

THis is so ridiculous.
