just another person probably going to be put on hold

hello all.

I just got my 5th for my free ipod. His name is Johnny and he signed up on one of the library computers. He has an on campus address.

As an insentive to get him to sign up, I told him I would use my credit card for whatever offer he wanted. He picked out the video professor deal and we went to the website. We put in HIS name and HIS address and HIS email addy but [ie6dee32c69][be6dee32c69][ue6dee32c69]MY[/ue6dee32c69][/be6dee32c69][/ie6dee32c69] CC#. Everything went through and he got his credit and I got mine.

Will I get put on hold?

depends on if VP gives gratis the CC info. Technically I think there are laws against that? but im not entirely sure, that argument is an ongoing battle im curious about too.

I'm just worried that my last referral is going to be the one that screws up all my work...bah...

if he doesnt get approved, can i just get another referral to take his place?

If you get put on hold you can get more referrals until you're blue in the face, and it won't help at all.

Look, we're not dumb, Gratis isnt dumb, you scammed them. Obviously if you found freeipodguide then you're smart enough to know that they would put you on hold for that, and you would have looked for a referral elsewhere. They will put you on hold, you will not get your iPod. Sorry.

because you used YOUR credit card. no offense, but why after all that trouble would you risk screwing it up on the last one? don't be surprised if you get put on hold, you should have just played by the rules.

i say get one more ref just in case... then if you get put on hold explain them the whole thing, they should take you off...

i dont think they'll put you on hold tho... -) but they're usually pretty good about the whole thing... i mean if you're friend is going to pay you back in cash... just explain it to them. I mean not everyone wants to go around flashing their cc# everywhere ;-)

I don't think you will have a problem though, because i don't think that Video Professor can pass credit card info to Gratis, what Video Professor is concerned with is that that person is unique, and unless you have multiple people singed up under Video Professor with your CC#, i would think that Video Professor will view your friend as a unique account even though its your name on the CC# which is different from the person's account.

its complete bull if you get put on hold for this because its legit and we are come by it honestly. errrrkkkk!!!!!!
