I had a friend do a referral for me and he just IMed me and told me he cancelled!!!! before receiving credit or anything!! (I don't understand why he would cancel before even deciding if he liked the offer and especially before receiving credit!)
he seems convinced that he will still get credit but I think he's on crack. should I just forget about him and get another referral to replace him?

wowow, slow down with that, I would just have your friend wait becuase doing the offer again is fraud as u arent' allowed to do the offers twice, but have him do a different offer if you don't get credit in a week or so.

What offer was it? if it was freebidding, I don't blame him for cancelling, and you should still get credit.

it was buyers advantage...
Trilegent offers (such as buyer's advantage) usually keep track of when you cancel the offer, and give credit based on that.
In my opinion, I would wait 8 days from when he completed the offer, and if still no credit, get him to sign up for another one.
Don't tell him to resign up to Buyer's Advantage - credit will not be given.

Update Ummm... it was totally unexpected but his referral went green today.... will this cause a problem when my account is approved?
