we can only put songs into ipod shuffle by itunes, and itunes is terrible. It updates the ipod shuffle whenever i connect it and if the songs which are in ipod arent in the original directories in computer, itunes erases that songs. And it doesnt put songs through windows explorer by dragging, it only put songs from itunes library. I want to use another software for ipod shuffle. There are other softwares for ipod but they dont work with ipod shuffle. Do you know a good software for ipod shuffle...

Select "manually transfer files" when you install your ipod and you wont have this problem. read the manual dude.

ya, the good software for the iPod shuffle is iTunes, the best music player out there period. Helps if you take five minutes to figure out how it works.

Anapod Explorer from redchairsoftware.com now supports the shuffle.
It allows for drag-and-drop using Windows Explorer to get songs on and off the shuffle.
