Long approval time

Is anyone waiting for approval right now? I requested for approval Tues March 29.
I sent them a message and this is what they have to say
"We are sorry for the delay. Because we approve each account individually, on a first come-first serve basis, this may sometimes take longer than the stated time. We are also currently experiencing an influx of accounts submitted for approval. Please be patient with us. Thank you for your cooperation."
This doesn't make any sense because I requested approval for a gift at www.freevideogames.com (own by Gratis also) and that was approved on the same day. I guess this can make sense if they have different group working on different offers. Any thoughts?

I got the same message back when i was waiting for approval. Its a canned response. It took about 8-9 days to get approved for me.
Dont be in any hurry to get approved though, if you check the other posts you will see that most of us are approved and waiting to be STV or shipped for weeks or even months now. You still have a long wait ahead of you even after you get approved.

I got approved today, in case anyone wants to know how long approval take. The approval length was exactly like what abrock123 said.
One thing that still concern me about Freepsps.com. I didn't know that you can be put on hold while in the "processing" stage. A friend of mine sign up under me, went green for me and got approved last week and got put on hold today leaving me with a gray. Fortunately, I had more than five greens. Has this happened to anyone? Any thoughts?

Just sent mine in for approval. Man, I hope they all get approved. It was hard enough getting those first five. Freepsps refs are pretty tough to get now.

Hopefully none of my refs get on hold....They were all my friends & co-workers so i didnt have to trade with someone...But there is still a posibility right?

they are on a major lag especially with freepsps.com ive been waiting 6 days and still no approval. hopefully tomorrow because i sent them a message.

no updates at all
its been exactly 8 days now and still nothing. this is really getting out of hand. when i sent a message to them they just closed it and told me to be patient. so much for good customer service.

yea Gratis is legit, but why would we continue doing their sites if other companies such as OC are also legit and have much faster service?

How do you contact Gratis? I went to Help/FAQ and it just runs me in circles.

click on questions regarding account status, then look for a link where it says "i still have a question regarding my account" and then write to them.

Honestly I believe they do it on purpose. Think about it. THe longer they wait the better the chance of one of your refferal canceling an offer. This way they get to make you have to get more refferal$ for them.
It doesnt take that long to be verified. It's all automatic. They know who,what when , and where an offer has completed. THEY HAVE TO KNOW otherwise THEY CAN'T GET PAID.

I don't think it's a question of "if", it's just a question of "when".
Gratis is good for it...we just don't know when they'll actually ship them.
That last report that was posted here (from a customer service response) seemed to suggest a couple of week from now or so.

This is just stupid. Gratis is blowing it. This will probably be my last Gratis site. Communication goes a long way. When I sent it in for approval 2 weeks ago I was pumped to know that my PSP would be shipped in 5 days or so and would have a shot at getting the Spiderman 2 disk. If they are not going to approve people in 5 days then take it off the damn website. Also, it wouldn't hurt for them to post a message about how sorry they are for the delay but ther was a vendor problem, etc... blah, blah. blah. Come on Gratis!
