I want to have some way of playing my ipod in my car... I found the iTrip and was wondering how badly it degrades the quality... I also saw the tape adapter as well and am wondering the same thing...

I've been wondering about the iTrip's quality also. The tape adapter is not an option for me as I have a cd player radio.

The iTrips quality isnt that bad, although it can be fuzzy at times. I wouldn't recommend it if you dont NEED it.

i won't need the iTrip since my brother rigged my car with a headphone jack connected to the stereos auxilliary input. That's your best bet...

nice man. Another suggestion is to buy a BMW and use the built-in jack for you iPod D

ive got a belkin one. i tried it with my discman and its horrible. i need something that can choose a full range of stations
or i might just buy a cd player that has one of those auxilary inputs

I wouldn't get a transmitter.
My brother's car's stereo deck has RCA Inputs on the back for auxilary inputs. He has a Belkin adaptor that plugs into your car lighter to keep it charged, while a different cord on the same adapter runs back through to the back of his stereo with RCA outputs.
i hope that makes sense. It is perfect quality at all times if your deck supports this.

i use the tape deck. if you get one, be sure not to have your ipod volume at full blast, otherwise you hear a bunch of cracks and pops on some songs.
