ok, since there's gonna be a huge wait for shipping from gratis on the psps, would i be able to do this? buy a psp at the store, and then when i get my free one, be able to return that one to the store?

I think that depends on how long you have to wait to get your free one, a month is the usual policy for most places. What you should do is go to the store you plan on buying it at and ask them what their policy is.

Yeah totally screw that newby nintendo ds and go for the sony psp. Way better graphics and totally pwns the ds so go for it. Not a bad idea I might do it myself.
